Welcome to Am-Echad

Temple Am Echad has been born as the result of the merger of two venerable and long established Reform Jewish institutions on the south shore of Long Island, NY, Temple Emanu-El of Lynbrook and Temple Sinai of Long Island.

The merger was approved at the end of the 2009 season and much to the astonishment of all has gone more smoothly than any had actually imagined. As it turns out, our two temple families could not have been a better fit.
According to our spiritual leader Rabbi Glenn Jacob, our administrative styles compliment each other perfectly. We heartily agree.

Led by Rabbi Glenn Jacob and our Jewish musical troubador, Cantor Jerry Korobow, you will find a spiritual energy of song and celebration at our services that is totally unique and fulfilling. Our long established religious and Early Childhood Schools continue to serve our community as they have for decades.

If you are a Reform Jew anywhere in southwestern Nassau
County or southeastern Queens looking for a home, we are
confident that once you experience what we have to offer,
you will need to look no farther.
