Emanu-El of Lynbrook was born in 1920 out of a desire to provide a Jewish
education to the children of the area. Begun
as a cooperative effort, Am-Echad continues that volunteer
tradition today.
Founded in 1951, Temple Sinai of Long Island started
as
twenty family offshoot of another area synagogue. A
building was acquired and a religious school was started
immediately.
As a member of the Union For Reform Judaism (URJ) we subscribe to the open, inclusive and progressive tenets of an ever-changing and growing Liberal Judaism.
