Have you checked out our sub-group on Facebook?  It is called Just for Us – a group where we can share information directly relevant to our community – recommendations for contractors, doctors, vendors and services vetted by temple members who have personal experience with the recommended service.

A few Temple members have already posted in our Temple Am Echad Facebook group, asking for recommendations, and have been answered!  You, too, can be a part of this group.

You MUST be on Facebook to participate.  If you are, just go to the Temple Am Echad group and post your question. You can also use this direct link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/82508683352

All temple members are invited to join a new sub-group on Facebook – Just For Us.

Purpose:

This group will serve as an opportunity for communication between members of Temple Am Echad.

Who can join?

The group is only open to current Temple Am Echad members.  If you join and you decide you no longer wish to be part of the group, you can always discontinue your membership at any time.  And Temple members can join at any time.

Why would I want to join this group?

This group offers people an opportunity to create a virtual sense of community.  Members will be able to share information directly relevant to our community – recommendations for contractors, vendors, doctors and services vetted by temple members who have personal experience with the recommended service.

What Just For Us is NOT:

It is NOT a political forum to advance positions regarding topics, issues or candidates.

It is NOT a discussion board for exchanges of political opinions.

It is NOT a place to make personal attacks on other group members.

It is NOT a place to solicit or fundraise for an organization or for personal use.

How do I join this group?

On Facebook, search for Temple Am Echad – The South Shore Reform Congregation (or use this direct link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/82508683352

If you aren’t already a member of the group, you will see a button that says Join Group.

If you are already a member and wish to add someone else, you will see a button that says Invite.  Again, only current members of Temple can be in the group.

If you have any questions, please contact Vivian Blumstein.

Terms of Use are here.
